The Camillos in Schwabbruck: Rocking the cowshed!

A farmyard celebration for singers and audience with the don camillo choir in Schäferwirt, Schwabbruck bei Schongau

It wasn’t livestock heating up the ‘cowshed’ in Schwabbruck, but the jazzy rhythms of the don camillo choir — and the 50 audience members were delighted by the sound of these singers from far-off Munich. This choir was invited for this full evening’s concert by the organiser of the Kultkneipe, Stefan Kögl, and squeezed themselves onto the smallest stage they’ve ever sung on. Nevertheless, the Camillos once again managed to show their best side, demonstrating their skills with Swing, Jazz, Rock and even Classical works.

The Schongauer News reported from the event describing the „enchantment of the guests“, summing up with, „by the end, you had to ask yourself whether there’s anything this choir can’t do“.
